New Friends on Hope Street in Providence

We are excited about our new friends and partner, Evolve Apothecary.  Owners Susan Benzuly and business partner Yolande Muoio take a holistic approach to health, wellness and beauty incorporating art as an integral part of their business model the latter of which we are most fortunate.

Mary Lou and I are currently exhibiting six nature and floral pieces of art and photography.  Art exhibits round out the lovely environment of an enterprise whose mission is consistent with specialized non-toxic health, beauty and home product offerings.

Go to Evolve Apothecary to learn more…  or better yet, stop by!

Opportunity knocked —

So far this year we have participated in The Attleboro Arts Museum Flower Show – we each had  Nature themed work accepted.   This was thrilling!   Gerri had work accepted for The Rhode Island Watercolor Society for a January show.   Last night Mary Lou attended a Paint and Vino at The Alpine Country Club with friends.  Here is my work of art in acrylic:

Creative Ground for 2016

Mary Lou, Gerri and Sarah have begun meeting bringing in others interested in working with us.  Our goal is to try new and interesting ways to stimulate and explore new art forms.   In February our meeting consisted of an out of the box design task.  In March, our group participated in learning beading patterns and processes.  Our next project will be learning the process of silk screening in April.  More to come…
